UCF RSO Involvement
Sports TEAM Society
This club was restarted in the Fall 2021 semester as it disbanded during Covid. Due to it being restarted, they needed dedicated students to lead and be involved in the club. I was fortunate enough to be picked as secretary for the club and have been for two semesters now. In this club we provide insight on the sports industry, attend site tours and games, and provide guest speakers for our members. This is a club that aligns with exactly what I want to do as a career and it helps propel me on that path with the connections I have made in this club.
Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC)
The Association of Bridal Consultants at UCF was created for students to learn more about the wedding industry. They provide opportunities to get more hands on experience in the wedding industry, learn from industry professionals, and network with industry professionals. I have been an active member of this RSO for two semesters, Fall 2021 and Spring 2022. This club and its purpose is something that also intrigues me. If my dream career does not align, this is another industry I would like to be a part of and learning about it is very informative.
Cultures Around the World
Cultures Around the World's mission is to bring together all sectors of the hospitality industry together. They provide insight on different countries and their celebrations and traditions and plan gatherings to celebrate those cultures. I have been an active member of this RSO for two semesters, Fall 2021 and Spring 2022. This club has been able to give me insight on other different countries and their cultures and given me an appreciation of them.
